MAXTRAX Mounting Pin Set – XTREME / X-Series (17mm)

Designed to secure 2 or 4 (1 or 2 pairs) of MAXTRAX X-SERIES 4WD Recovery Tracks 

Glass-filled Nylon and stainless steel quick-release pins for securely mounting your MAXTRAX on a roof rack, mount, or crossbars. The set includes 4 pins to securely hold 2 or 4 MAXTRAX X-SERIES 4WD recovery tracks, 4 stainless-steel Nyloc nuts, and 4 flat stainless-steel washers. There’s a hole in the top of each mounting pin to fit a small padlock.

40mm Pins

Weight: 100 grams for each pin.

Size: 165mm long including 40mm of 10mm diameter thread. SS Nyloc nuts & flat washers are included.

 

17mm Pins

These mounting pins are produced with 17mm of M10 thread to suit applications where 40mm is too long. 17mm is also the perfect length to suit our MAXTRAX Flat Rack Mount.

Weight: 100 grams for each pin.

WHERE DID MAXTRAX COME FROM?

Brad McCarthy, author of Dirty Weekends “The Essential 4WD Guides”, devised the idea for MAXTRAX in 2001 after a particularly stressful incident on a remote north Queensland beach where he almost lost his bogged vehicle to the incoming tide, despite being equipped with all of the traditional recovery equipment. Brad’s passion for the Australian bush, exploration and adventure sent him out, often solo throughout Queensland, to research bush tracks and locations to feature in his guide books.

n November 2010, the new MAXTRAX MKII won 2 Global Media Awards for Best New Product at the 2010 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, NV, USA. Not a bad result for a 5-year-old ‘little Aussie company’ on its first visit to SEMA!

MAXTRAX is now an I4WDTA (International 4WD Trainers Association) Recommended Product.
