A steering stabilizer is a small shock absorber that mounts (usually horizontally or very close to it) on the steering linkage and helps stabilize the unwanted side-to-side motion of the front tyres up through the steering system.

Once installed they can assist to reduce bump steer, tie rod and ball joint wear and tear, unwanted vibrations and can help to improve the control and handling of the vehicle. They can be installed as single stabiliser or dual stabilisers. Each option will provide different driver feedback. It is a good idea to install a stabilizer whenever a lift kit or larger wheels and tyres are installed.

Suspension lift kits are a custom modification for a truck or SUV that raises the overall height of a vehicle, giving extra inches of ground clearance. Adding a suspension lift kit to your ride allows you to navigate or avoid road obstacles with greater ease than a factory setup.
